Plato’s Kode makes winning jumps debut at Market Rasen
Well, don’t say we didn’t tell you. Plato’s Kode duly delivered first time over jumps in his juvenile hurdle at Market Rasen yesterday – just as we predicted he would.
Seamus informed us on site a couple of weeks ago that Plato’s Kode had been “like a cat” on the schooling grounds, and the three-year-old was again electric at his obstacles on the Lincolnshire course and never looked like getting beat – settling beautifully, quickening up in style to win by seven lengths, and at 7-1, too!
“It was a very pleasing start, and as he cannot have the ground too fast we hope that Plato’s Kode might be able to rattle off a little sequence over the next couple of months before the winter going sets in.
He’s a versatile individual who has already won on the Flat at Bath this season and he’s a good fun horse to have around.”
